My passion is ευδαιμονία, a Greek term that translates approximately to “happiness” or “flourishing.”
I strongly believe that consciousness is the offspring of Order, and that creativity is the mechanism through which Order expands its dominion across the sea of Chaos we call the Universe.
And all these ancient myths that tell us we were created in the “image” of a creator — I think those are all true.
I believe that humanity — in its globally interconnected form — is the most advanced stage of Order in this sector of the Universe, and that creativity is fundamental to not only our psychology, but to our biology and even to the physics of our existence.
There is a universal conflict between Order and Entropy, and humanity, as Order Incarnate, is the vanguard.
Unfortunately, there’s now a great deal of societal infrastructure that actively prunes, punishes, and stifles human creativity nearly from the moment of birth.
For this reason, I find myself a perpetual black sheep — a lonely rower, paddling against a stream of compliance, advocating for people to take risks, pursue their passions, and literally create the future.
The result is that I don’t make much money, and I tend to clash with personalities that place a high value on status and financial achievement.
But I’ll be completely honest with you — I’m never, ever going to stop.
Right now, that means I’ll be dropping off 100 resumes in bars and restaurants to try to land some work as a bartender or dishwasher so I can get the cash flow to keep the flame of my Life’s Work at Empire Launch 🚀 and Shovel No. 3 💎 alive (2024 is going to be a rough year for SMBs, so buckle up, buttercup).
I’ll also keeping tossing my resume out there for entry level sales, just in case. I've only been rejected 300 times so far. Might try to pump that up to 500 before I move to Austin this summer.
I’ve applied to UT Austin with the intention of studying philosophy, psychology, and ancient languages — no idea if I’ll get admitted, but I’ll be studying this stuff on my own anyway, so I figured I might as well try.
The task of becoming yourself is the hardest thing you’ll ever do, but I believe it is absolutely essential in order to achieve joy, peace of mind, and life satisfaction.
It requires sacrifice. It will likely lead to ridicule. People will probably call you foolish, and will likely look down on you because you’ll have less money and status.
But that’s the price of progress.
My goal in life is to die empty — to know I held nothing back and worked hard daily to achieve my human potential.
If that resonates with you…
Let’s be friends.
Memento Mori 💀🌹
“If you allow yourself to learn who you really are by paying attention to that voice and force within you, then you can become what you were fated to become — an individual, a Master.”

Purchase The Testimony of Jacob Cohen (or get it FREE!)
The prerelease ebook version of my short cosmic horror story The Testimony of Jacob Cohen is now available for purchase.
The Testimony of Jacob Cohen is a cosmic horror story that unfolds as a journal written by Jacob Cohen, an archeologist in the early 1900s who gets trapped in an ancient ziggurat near the South Pole and discovers mysteries he wishes he could forget.
The story draws inspiration from the narrative style of Dracula, the real-life Endurance expedition in the early 1900s led by Ernest Shackleton, Dionysian cult mysticism from Ancient Greece, Terence McKenna’s lectures about panspermia, and modern astronomy, astrobiology, and mycology.
You can purchase this prerelease version now for $5 in my Patreon store, or you can claim your copy for FREE as part of the Connoisseur tier.
As a bonus, active members of the Connoisseur tier will also receive signed copies of the first physical printing of the final book upon release in February or March of 2024.

I resonate with everything here. I clash so much with those who prioritize wealth and status over creative integrity. Doing things you hate to acquire wealth is such a soulless way to live. I often question why people don’t see value in what we do. Why people don’t bother looking beneath the surface.
But what you are fighting for is worth it and anyone who can’t see that is a fool.
I’d like to learn Latin and Greek. It’d be cool
