Silver moonlight falls
On the garden they planted
Where bombs killed my friend

This Hell We Made is a collection of anti-war poems motivated by the international strife and war profiteering that is ruining our beautiful world.
When this series is complete, the poems will be compiled into a single volume, printed in pocketbook format, and made available for purchase in the USA.
A Note on Form
Some of the poems in this series will break traditional haiku convention. The form of these haiku is less a rigorous adherence to tradition and more an appeal to the spirit of the format, following loosely a three-point system I’ve devised for this project which comprises “scene, sense, and story.”
